Object history
Deutsch: 1934 erhielt die damalige Gemeinde, seit 1969 Stadt, Welzow die Erlaubnis, das vorstehend beschriebene Wappen zu führen. Der Minister des Innern des Landes Brandenburg bestätigte der Stadt Welzow am 14. Juli 2005 die Fortführung des Wappens.
