English: Villa of German banker Barthold Arons (1850–1933), part of Colonie Alsen, located at Grosser Wannsee southwest of Berlin. Here his son Bruno Arons was raised after 1880, who later became an architect and changed his family name to Ahrends. The latter built between 1921 to 1925 a cottage for his own family in direct neighbourship.
Deutsch: Villa des Berliner Bankiers Barthold Arons (1850–1933) in der Colonie Alsen am Großen Wannsee südwestlich Berlins. Sie wurde 1875 für die Bankiers Heinrich Leo von Julius Hennicke und Hermann von der Hude errichtet, 1880 von Barthold Arons erworben. In der Villa wuchs sein Sohn, der spätere Architekt Bruno Ahrends auf. Dieser baute sich 1921 auf dem Grundstück seines Vaters, das die Parzellen Am Großen Wannsee 5, 6 und 6A umfasste, ein Landhaus (Am Großen Wannsee 6). |
