Summary

Description
English: Tickencote Church. St Peter's Church is Norman, with a broad flattened chancel arch (Pevsner wrote that the decoration was wildly overdone). Also there are rare Norman bosses in the vaulting, and remarkable decoration of the external walls by interlacing arches. The church was ruined by the 18C, and was restored and altered in 1792. The porch tower was added at that time.
