English: Tennessee Club, Memphis, Tennessee. The Tennessee Club was an exclusive men's social club that was organized on May 7, 1875. It had about 200 members and owned a house on the corner of North Court Avenue and Second Street, “where members meet socially, dine, discuss questions of the times and occasionally entertain their friends with balls or receptions.” [1]
