Summary

Description
English: St Peter's parish church, Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire: panelled chest tomb of a knight and his lady, probably late 14th-century. There was an inscription but it is now lost. The monument was once thought to represent members of the Incent family and/or the Torrington family, the wife being a Torrington before her marriage. However, it is now thought to be the tomb of Henry of Berkhamsted, constable to the Black Prince at Berkhamsted Castle.
