Summary

Description
English: Built in 1573 for Shehzade Mustafa, son of Süleyman the Magnificent, by his brother Selim II. Mustafa had died in 1553 in Ereğli, his body had been interred in Bursa for 20 years in another spot until it was transferred here. The architect, Mehmet Çavush, had been recommended by Sinan. Inside are great Iznik tiles (though in a repetitive pattern). The original hand-drawn ornamentation, covered by other in the 19th century, has been brought to light again during a 2013 restoration.
