Čeština: Sedící lama; kolorovaný a lakovaný papier maché; Tibet nebo spíše Ladakh; 19. století, možná i dříve; nyní Britské muzeum. Použití metody papier maché pro tvorbu náboženských soch je v Tibetu vzácné. Jedná se proto pravděpodobně o dílo úzce spojené s kulturou Ladakhu nebo Kašmíru. Živými barvami kolorovaná soška představuje lamu v typickém tibetském mnišském oděvu. Pouze pokrývka hlavy je okopírovaná podle čapek nošených indickými pandity, kteří přinesli buddhismus do Tibetu. |
