English: Sandomierz is a small city in south-eastern Poland situated in the Świętokrzyskie Province and is the capital of Sandomierz County. It is known for its Old Town and in the past Sandomierz used to be one of the most important urban centers in the whole country, making it not only one of the oldest but one of the most historically significant cities in Poland.
