Description
English: An oblique view of Walvis Bay, Namibia, in the South Atlantic Ocean, was provided by an STS-133 crew member onboard Discovery using a digital still camera. Approximate center coordinates of the area pictured are 23.0 degrees south latitude and 14.5 degrees east longitude. Seen also are parts of the Namibian Desert, Pelican Point (sand spit), and Kuiseb River on the edge of the dune field.
