Summary
| Description | Dijkzigt. Jongkindstraat Private house designed in Nieuwe Bouwen style for the Sonneveld family. Albertus Sonneveld was one of the directors of the Van Nelle factory. Arch. Johannes Brinkman and Leendert van der Vlugt 1932-33. The Rotterdam Stichting Bevordering van Volkskracht foundation bought the museum house in 1977. The house was restored and opened to the public in 2001. The restoration work was done by architects’ firm Molenaar & Van Winden. |
