Description

Uit een serie van 50 hogesnelheidstreinstellen gebouwd door het concortium van Bombardier Transportation en AnsaldoBreda is de Frecciarossa 1000 ontstaan. In deze treinstellen zitten basis onderdelen van de bij ons geflopte V250. Vanaf de zomer van 2015 zijn de treinstellen in dienst, met een gemiddelde dienstsnelheid van 300 km/h. Hiermee werd de reistijd tussen Milaan en Rome met 45 min verkort worden tot 2 uur en 55 min.
