English: This marble funeral stele is inscribed. In the right end is a ring, in the left a vase, unfinished. There is a clamp hole in each end near the top. The base and the top do not belong to the stele. CIL VI 23414: D(is) M(anibus) / M(arco) Ogulnio / Iusto filio / pientissimo / vix(it) ann(os) XV mens(es) II d(ies) XXII / M(arcus) Ogulnius / Iustus pater / et sibi fecit; translate: “By the hands of Marco Ogulnius Justus, his loving son, he lived 15 years, 2 months, 22 days.”
