Summary

Description
English: Built by the Kenyan colonial government in the first half of the 20th century, the railway line to Murang'a town was one of the most important forms of transport in the country's central area. Due to the rough terrain, engineers had to come up with cutting-edge engineering solutions of the time such as this 150 metre steel bridge at an elevation of 15 metres from the river..
