Español: Retrato de un caballero desconocido de la Orden de Santiago. Conviene señalar que, aunque la atribución de este cuadro a Juan Carreño de Miranda no se apoya en ninguna prueba o testimonio y que en alguna ocasión ha sido cuestionada, puede aceptarse sin apenas reservas según algunos expertos, debido a la técnica y al carácter empleados en el lienzo. La ejecución del rostro y del cabello, y el modo desenvuelto a la hora de representar los objetos que aparecen, son típicos de Carreño de Miranda, y pueden agruparse con las de otros retratos seguros suyos y totalmente indubitados.
