English: The great “Rajaram Mandir” which is located at the Khalia village from Tekerhat, Madaripur.
This is a two stored temple, and Bangladesh government taken control of this and promulgate this as the Archaeological heritage of the country. It’s not known when the temple was built. From the name, its easily guess that, it was built by someone rich person Rajaram. This lovely temple has noticeable number of terracotta on the wall and the pillar. The experts used to say the images from the temple actually depict some portion of the Mahabharat and Ramayan. If you are an archaeological heritage lover, then it’s a must visit place for you. LikeShow more reactionsCommentবাংলা: "রাজারাম মন্দির"মাদারীপুর জেলার রাজৈর উপজেলার প্রাচীন ভাস্কর্য শিল্পের অনুপম নিদের্শন খালিয়া রাজারাম মন্দির । সপ্তদশ শতাব্দীতে এটি নির্মিত । এ মন্দির টি মহাকাল কে উপেক্ষা করে আজো টিকে রয়েছে জেলার । এটিই একমাত্র প্রাচীন মন্দির । তৎকালীন জমিদার কালী সাধক রাজারাম রায় চৌধুরী এ মন্দিরটি বিপুল অর্থব্যয়ে নির্মান করেছিলেন । নির্মানের সঠিক তারিখ জানা যায়নি । নির্মাতার নামেই এটি পরিচিত হয়ে উঠেছে । এটি বাংলাদেশের বাংলার রীতিতে তৈরি । দেখতে চৌচালা ঘরের মতো । ২৩ শতাংশ জমির উপর নির্মিত মন্দিরের দৈর্ঘ ২০ ফুট,প্রস্থ ১৬ ফুট,এবং উচ্চতা৪৭ ফুট । দ্বিতল মন্দিরের এসব টেরাকোটায় রামায়ন ও মহাভারতের বিভিন্ন দৃশ্যাবলী ফুটিয়ে তোলা হয়েচে নিপুন দক্ষতায় । এছাড়া মন্দিরের গায়ে রয়েছে বিভিন্ন দেব দেবীর, পশু পাখির ও লতা পাতার অসংখ্য চিত্র । দক্ষ শিল্পীদের নিপুন হাতের কারু কাজ ৪ শ বছর পরও মানুষের মন কাড়ে । মন্দিরের অলস্করনের জন্য ব্যবহৃত টেরাকোটায় রয়েছে কুরুক্ষেত্রর যুদ্ধ, রামায়ন ও মহাভারতের নানা কাহিনী মন্দিরের পাশে রয়েছে রান্নাঘর অনেক কিছুর সাক্ষী এ ঘরটির অবস্থা এখন খুবই বিপন্ন। এই রান্না ঘর থেকেই পূজার বিভিন্ন উপচার ও উপকরন তৈরি করা হত । জমিদার রাজারাম রায় চৌধুরী নিজেই এ মন্দিরে পূজা করতেন । রান্না ঘরটি বর্তমানে সংস্কারের অভাবে বিধস্ত হয়ে পড়ার উপক্রম । মন্দিরের নিচ তলায় ৩টি কক্ষ ও উপরের তলায় ৬ টি কক্ষ রয়েছে । মন্দিরের উপরের তলায় র ভেতরের দিকে ফাটল ধরেছে । যে কোন সময় ঘটতে পারে বড় ধরনের দুর্ঘটনা । কোথাও চুন সুরকি খসে পড়ছে । মন্দিরটি দেখা শোনার জন্য জাতীয় জাদুঘর ও প্রত্নতত্ব বিভাগ এক জন সাইড পরিচারক নিয়োগ করেছে । কিন্তু নেই যথাযথ উদ্যোগ । সবই যেন শুধু আনুষ্ঠানিকতা । আর প্রতিষ্ঠানিক নিয়ম নিয়ম রক্ষা রক্ষার জন্য পদক্ষেপ । প্রতি বছর দেশের বিভিন্ন স্থান থেকে দল বেধে মানুষ আসে মন্দির দেখতে । প্রয়োজনীয় উদ্যোগ গ্রহন করলে এই রাজারাম মন্দির এলাকায় অনায়াসে গড়ে উঠতে পারে একটি নয়নাভিরাম পর্যটন কেন্দ্র |
