File:Poiuyt--opaque.svg

Original file(SVG file, nominally 639 × 816 pixels, file size: 2 KB)

Description

Drawing of "blivet" or "poiuyt" impossible object, with backgrounds to enhance the illusion. If the bottom section is covered up, then there are two bars with rectangular cross-section descending (shown on sky-blue background); while if the top section is covered up, there are three cylindrical rods ascending (shown on a green background). If both the bottom and the top are covered, then there are only six evenly-spaced parallel lines...

This is an altered version of Poiuyt.svg. Note that this file must have an opaque background, due to deliberate internal inconsistencies (i.e. no useful or consistent scheme of making white areas transparent in the image is possible).

For a monochrome version, see File:Poiuyt-pseudo-backgrounds.svg
