Español: Pórtico sur. Probable alcázar almohade de Abū Yūsuf Ya‘qūb al-Manşūr (1189). Importante registro del arte almohade, arquitectura civil palacial (Palacio del Yeso), obra del alarife ‘Alī al-Gumārī. Patio de planta rectangular con alberca en medio. En uno de sus lados, el meridional, pórtico y salón interior, también rectangular. Esta tipología palatina, dos siglos después, la veremos en el Reino nazarí de Granada. El Cuarto del Yeso, que formaba parte del patio, fué demolido en el siglo XVIII. Pedro I usó estos espacios como residencia privada mientras construían su nuevo palacio.
