One Million dollars was collected in a spectacular event where Sharon Stone was the guest of honor. the mayor of San Francisco was host for the evening. As Michael's assistant for many years, I had the pleasure meet Elton and to snap this personal photo. Michael Laucke is proud to be original founding director and Honorary charter member of the Board of Directors of the MAC AIDS Foundation (Estée Lauder) where he distributed $120 million in association with the Elton John AIDS Foundation. The MAC AIDS Fund was established in 1994 by Michael Laucke’s dear childhood friend, Frank Angelo, and Frank Toskin, co-founders of MAC Cosmetics, Inc. to support men, women and children affected by HIV/AIDS globally. |
