Description
Deutsch: Westsüdwestansicht des 1089 gegründeten Benediktinerstiftes in der niederösterreichischen Stadtgemeinde Melk und im Vordergrund der Kramerturm an der Ecke Nibelungenlände/Kremser Straße sowie die denkmalgeschützte Stahlhubbrücke über den Donauarm.
Die Stiftsanlage wurde in der 1. Hälfte des 18. Jahrhundert grundlegend umgebaut sowie erweitert und erhielt dabei im Wesentlichen ihr heutiges Erscheinungsbild.
