Description
English: Award of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation. Medal "For Service in the Air Force". Instituted on 13 August 2004 by ministerial order 240. Awarded to soldiers of the Air Force of the Russian Federation for 20 years or more of good service subject to holding the Medal For Distinguished Military Service 1st Class and an honor badge "For Merit". In exceptional cases, for rewarding veterans of the Air Force or Air Defense Troops that meet specified conditions like the recognition of merit to the air force and air defense forces.
Français : Décoration du Ministère de la Défense de la Fédération Russe. Médaille pour « service dans la Force aérienne ». Instituée le 13 août 2004 par l’arrêté ministériel 240. Attribuée aux soldats de l'Armée de l'Air de la Fédération Russe pour 20 ans ou plus de service si préalablement décoré de la Médaille pour éminents service militaire de 1ère classe et de la décoration "Pour Mérite". Dans des cas exceptionnels, pour les vétérans de la Force aérienne ou des troupes de défense aérienne qui satisfont à certaines conditions comme avoir préalablement décoré de la décoration "Pour Mérite" de l'armée de l'air ou des Forces de défense aérienne.
Русский: Медаль Министерства обороны РФ "За службу в Военно-воздушных силах". Учреждена приказом Министра обороны РФ № 240 от 13.08.2004 г. Медалью награждаются военнослужащие за добросовестную службу в течение 20 лет и более в календарном исчислении при условии награждения знаком отличия военнослужащих Военно-воздушных сил «За заслуги» или памятным знаком главнокомандующего Военно-воздушными силами (нагрудным знаком «Войска ПВО страны»). Награждение лиц, ранее проходивших военную службу в Военно-воздушных силах и Войсках ПВО, либо уволенных с военной службы и отвечающих указанным условиям, может производиться в исключительных случаях как факт признания их заслуг перед Военно-воздушными силами и Войсками ПВО.
