| Description |
English: Two iterations of the Haar wavelet decomposition on the Lenna image. The original image is low-pass filtered and downscaled, yielding the approximation image shown in the top left quadrant. It is also high-pass filtered, yielding the detail coefficients matrices in the remaining three quadrants (top right, bottom left and bottom right). The filtering process is repeated one more time on the approximation image. |
