English: "Nikandra of Naxos for Artemis on Delos." Early Naxian work circa 650 BC; slightly larger than life, at least vertically. Flat styling, high 1,80 m. Naxian girl donated to the temple of Artemis on Delos that its idealized form. Noticeable is flat stylization, almost reminiscent of ancient Cycladic idols. Found 1878 at Delos. National Archaeological Museum Athens, NAMA 1. Čeština: "Níkandra z Naxu Artemidě na Délos." Raná naxijská práce kolem r. 650 před n. l., mírně nadživotní, aspoň vertikálně. Plochá stylizace, vysoká 1,80 m. Naxijská dívka věnovala na Délos Artemidě k chrámu tuto svoji idealizovanou podobu. Nápadná je plochá stylizace, téměř připomínající dávné kykladské idoly.
