English: Japanese aircraft taken over by the Allies in British Malaya were tested and evaluated by Japanese naval pilots under the supervision of Royal Air Force officers. Here a Mitsubishi J2M Raiden (known to the Allies as a 'Jack'), belonging to the 381 Kokutai of Imperial Japanese Navy Air Service, has its engine run prior to flight whilst Japanese ground crew wait in attendance at RAF Seletar.
