Summary

Description
English: This is the real-time animation where each frame displayed at 1 fps rate. For this animation of flight 25 of Ingenuity 190 frames acquired by the navigation camera (NAV) of the helicopter were used.

Animation starts from the photo taken at 10:02:57 local mean solar time on April 8, 2022 (sol 403 of the Perseverance rover mission), when its 1 metre (3.3 ft) above martian surface after departure. Timestamp for the last photo is 11:05:31, when Ingenuity has almost 1 metre (3.3 ft) above the martian surface before landing at Airfield Q 161.3 seconds of flight.

The navigation camera has been programmed to deactivate whenever the rotorcraft is within 1 m (3.3 ft) of the surface. This helps ensure any dust kicked up during takeoff and landing won’t interfere with the navigation system as it tracks features on the ground.
