Description
English: Egg string and embryos of Haliphron atlanticus, collected north of Cape Verde Islands (17°24′N 22°57′W / 17.4°N 22.95°W / 17.4; -22.95). Eggs measure around 8 mm in long axis. Identified by R. E. Young and Mike Vecchione "based on size of eggs and equal length of arms of embryos and their capture in a pelagic trawl at 300 m depth over a bottom of about 3,000 m". Held in collections of NMNH.
