Description

IWM caption : "THE BATTLE OF THE FALKLAND ISLANDS 8 DECEMBER 1914. Damage to HMS KENT caused by 4.1 inch shell fired by the German cruiser SMS NURNBERG."
Comment : 2 6-inch Mk VII guns in the starboard forward casemates are seen.


Note : this version has the lower part of the original IWM photo clipped off, it shows only the sea surface.
