Description (replica):Great Lakes 2T-1A Sportster (N107C). Some 200 of these planes were built between 1929 and 1932. Because of their universal appeal and aerobatic excellence the little ship dominated air shows into the 1960s. Its swept-back upper wing gave it a very high rate of roll and with larger engines it was very responsive. The plane was so popular that it was revived and several more were built between 1974 and 1978.
