Deutsch: Die Stifts- und Pfarrkirche Mariä Geburt in der niederösterreichischen Stadt Geras. Ein dreischiffiger Sakralbau mit einer romanischen Kernsubstanz, der nach einem Brand 1643 barockisiert wurde. Der Turm wurde 1663 errichtet und 1672 der Zwiebelhelm aufgesetzt. Die Mariensäule davor ist mit 1653 datiert. Im Jahr 1953 wurde die Kirche zur „Basilika minor“ erhoben. |
