Porträt des Abgeordneten Georg von Vincke, 1848 Die 15 x 11,5 cm große Daguerreotypie Jacob Seibs zeigt den Abgeordneten der Deutschen Nationalversammlung Georg von Vincke (1811-1875). Von Vicke war Jurist und von 1837-1848 Landrat des Kreises Hagen in Westfalen. In der Deutschen Nationalversammlung von 1848/49, in der er den 13. Westfälischen Wahlkreis vertrat, zählte er zur konservativen Franktion. 1852, wenige Jahre nach dieser Aufnahme, duellierte er sich mit Otto von Bismarck. Die Aufnahme Seibs gehört zu den frühen Photographien, die 1848 von Mitgliedern der Nationalversammlung in Frankfurt angefertigt wurden. |
