Summary
| Description |
English: 14 children that were martyred at the Dokurcum mill.
A 2022 earthquake caused a lot of damage. But in 2011 one could enter a “Panorama” museum. It showed scenes from the struggle to get rid of French occupation in the aftermath of the first world war. In (probably fake) bronzes these scenes paint a lively picture of great suffering and heroism. On the road up to the castle there were statues showing (often named) heroes. I identified and added the Turkish names, but do not know the stories. |
