Nikolenko, Pierre Mignard, Munich, 1983, pp. 73 - 74, reproduit pl. 6) représentant également la célèbre maîtresse de Louis XIV. Le modèle de notre tableau présente les mêmes traits physiques, à savoir les cheveux blonds, les yeux bleus et une sorte d' expression insolente qui lui est propre, que l'on retrouve dans la plupart des portraits la représentant."
