First Shell Fired At Howsatta's Village (Howsata)

The Lusei or Lushai tribe is one of the major tribes in Mizoram. From 1840 to 1895, the region saw a series of raids for slaves, loot and battles between many different tribes, as well as between British troops and individual tribes.
