Author Bureau of Industrial Service for CBS Television. During the 1950s and 1960s, it was not unusual for networks, program sponsors and studios to use either a publicity or ad agency to distribut publicity material. The "bureau" was a division of ad agency Young and Rubicam and was widely used for this purpose by those in the industry.
