English: Portrait photo of Curt Bräuer (24 February 1889 – 8 September 1969), Germany's diplomatic representative in Norway at the time of Nazi Germany's invasion of Norway in April 1940. After his recall from Norway on April 16, 1940, Bräuer left the diplomatic service and was sent to the front as an ordinary soldier.
