English: Eye pattern of a 1000base-SX Ethernet data stream, converted from optical to electrical using a SFP module, digitized with a Teledyne LeCroy WaveRunner 8404M-MS oscilloscope, and rendered with glscopeclient.
A lossy channel model (twelve feet of RG-188 cable, with about 9 dB of loss at 6 GHz) was applied to the signal in order to illustrate the effects of high frequency attenuation on a signal. |
