Català: Escut de Godella, Horta Nord: «Escut partit: el primer quarter, d'argent, amb una muntanya de sinople, i en el cap, una Creu de Sant Andreu, també de sinople, formada per dues taules creuades i no per dos troncs (blasó dels Ribot), i el segon quarter també de plata, amb tres maces (arma antiga de guerra) de gules, ben ordenades (blasó dels Maça). Per timbre, corona de Baró».
Español: Escudo de Godella, aprobado por Decreto de 25 de Junio de 1954, BOE de 10 de julio de 1954, según dictamen de la RAH: «Escudo partido: el primer cuartel, de plata, con un monte de sinople, y en el jefe, una Cruz de San Andrés, también de sinople, formada por dos tablas cruzadas y no por dos troncos (blasón de los Ribot), y el segundo cuartel también de plata, con tres mazas (arma antigua de guerra) de gules, bien ordenadas (blasón de los Maza)». Al timbre, corona de Barón, pues la RAH comenzaba su dictamen diciendo: «La villa de Godella perteneció a la Baronía de Santa Bárbara, como parte de su señorío jurisdiccional» y concluía: «...timbrado del coronel atributo del señorío jurisdiccional adecuado».
