Blasonamiento En campo de azul, un navío de dos palos de oro habillado de plata, con velamen al viento, sobre ondas de plata y azul; en el saliente de cada flanco un monte rocoso de gules defendido por una torre abierta y donjonada de oro. Al timbre, corona real cerrada. El motivo heráldico representa en su conjunto la entrada de la bahía de Sada; el navío alude a su histórico puerto pesquero y comercial ya conocido desde tiempo de los fenicios, cartagineses, griegos y romanos; las torres sobre rocas aluden a los castillos de Fontán y Corbeiroa, mandados construir en el siglo XVIII a fin de proteger el puerto y sus industrias pesqueras y de salazón, que según la tradición popular estaban comunicados mediante un túnel.

Blasonamento En campo de azul, un navío de dous paus de ouro habillado de prata, con velame ao vento, sobre ondas de prata e azul; no saliente de cada flanco un monte rochoso de gules defendido por unha torre aberta con torreón de ouro. Ao timbre, coroa real pechada. O motivo heráldico representa no seu conxunto a entrada da baía de Sada; o navío alude ao seu histórico porto pesqueiro e comercial, xa coñecido desde o tempo dos fenicios, cartaxineses, gregos e romanos; as torres sobre rochas aluden aos castelos de Fontán e Corbeiroa que foron mandados construír no século XVIII co fin de protexer o porto e as súas industrias pesqueiras e de salgadura e segundo a tradición popular estaban comunicados mediante un túnel.
