This image shows a copyrighted work of architecture from a country with no freedom of panorama exception. In accordance with a general consensus (2012), English Wikipedia only follows the copyright law of the United States (Title 17 of the United States Code). Therefore, the U.S. freedom of panorama (for architecture only) is applied to images of all copyrighted architecture from countries with no freedom of panorama exceptions. The U.S. freedom of panorama, found at Sec. 120(a), allows photography and the distribution or public display of resulting images of architectural works that are found in or visible from public spaces. Do not use this template on copyrighted public artworks (like statues, sculptures, and murals)! The U.S. freedom of panorama does not extend to public artworks. This means images of such works must be treated as non-free (even if these contain uploaders' licensing) and must follow the relevant guidelines on non-free content, or be deleted otherwise, unless the works are in the public domain, or their presence is incidental.

Do not copy this file to Wikimedia Commons. Although this image is free under US copyright law and thus acceptable on the English Wikipedia, it is believed to be non-free in its home country, France. This image should not be transferred to Wikimedia Commons unless it can be proven that depictions of the architectural work are free in the country where the work is located, as Commons requires that images be free in the source country and in the United States.
