Description
English: A picture of a self-designed tool for mechanical weed control: the diagonal weeder (a special form of a "tine weeder" or "weeder/comb harrow"). This weeder can be mounted on a tractor and allows diagonal weeding. It is useful in tree nurseries, where the 70cm long teeth of the machine can destroy weeds easily with a speed of 1ha per hour. The concept has been invented by the Belgian Peter Van Geem and worked out in practice by Vanhoucke Machinebouw. More information can be found at following webpage: BoomkwekerijenVanGeem.be
