Summary

Description
English: The Hazreti Süleyman Camii was built in 1160 but has been renovated often. It is situated within the citadel, and for that reason is also called Kale Camii. An inscription in its minaret (which contrasts with the current Selçuk style of the mosque) indicates it was by Abul Kasim Ali. There are several monumental graves in the complpex. ANother uploader has "The mosque compound includes the tombs of 27 Companions of the Prophet Muhammad who died when the Muslims conquered Amida in the 7th century. These tombs are a site of pilgrimage."
