A RCA Records promotional shot of Dave Davies, of The Kinks. It likely originates from the time of their album Muswell Hillbillies; possibly at the Archway tavern in Highgate, where several photo shoots of the band around the bar took place. It lacks a copyright notice and is therefore in the public domain, as it was published before 1978 (see here). This work was most certainly published before 1978, as The Kinks departed from RCA for Arista Records in 1976 (see here). Note the "exclusively on RCA," explaining that this was released at the time when The Kinks and Dave Davies were still under contract with the company.
