Object history Das Wappen vereint ein "redendes" Zeichen und Symbole des Erwerbs. So soll der bärtige Mannskopf offensichtlich den aus dem Slawischen stammenden Ortsnamen bildlich wiedergeben, obwohl der Name Barth mit dem deutschen Wort "Bart" nichts gemein hat.
