Summary

Description
English: Molecular models of cyclohexane (C6H12) in the "boat" (left) and "chair" (right) conformations. The carbon atoms are colored amber and blue according to whether they lie above or below the mean plane of the ring, respectively. The C-C ring bonds are in light green, de C-H bonds in gray, and hydrogen atoms in white. Derived from a photo of models built with the Prentice Hall Molecular Model Set for General Organic Chemistry (File:Cyclohexane chair form AND boat form 8254.JPG, uploaded by User:Bin im Garten), heavily edited with the GNU/Linux Gimp image editor,
