Description
Français : Cycle émersif métrique dans la plate-forme carbonatée du Lias moyen, Haut Atlas, Maroc (Septfontaine, 1985). Dépôt de lagon marin à foraminifères (orbitopsellidés s.l.) et huîtres géantes à la base, puis laminations algaires dolomitisées (en jaune) en milieu intertidal à supratidal; niveaux de tempête à foraminifères déplacés au sommet. Au Maroc les cycles sont de type autocyclique. Ils alternent avec des dépôts terrigènes d'origine triasique (provenant du SW). Les cycles actuels des "chotts" tunisiens sont de parfaits équivalents sédimentaires (Davaud & Septfontaine, 1995).
English: "Shallowing upward" metric sequence of autocyclic origin in the carbonate platform of middle Lias age in the High Atlas Mountains of Morocco. Lagoonal to intertidal deposit with algal mats; early diagenesis, dolomitization (in yellow) in a supratidal environment on top, with tidal and hurricanes deposits, floated foraminifera and breccias (Davaud & Septfontaine, 1995).
