English: Restoration of the holotype skeleton MOUF00001 of Toyotamaphimeia machikanense KOBATAKE et al. 1965 (missing parts reconstructed), an extinct tomistomine crocodile from the Middle Pleistocene (370,000 years ago) of the Upper Osaka Group, Osaka Prefecture, Central Japan.[1] Museum floor display, Moscow Paleontological Museum. The length of the skull alone is about 1 m. The original fossil material is housed in the Museum of Osaka University.
Deutsch: Rekonstruktion des Holotyps MOUF00001 von Toyotamaphimeia machikanense KOBATAKE et al. 1965 (fehlende Teile ergänzt), das Skelett eines ausgestorbenes Krokodils aus der Familie Tomistominae aus dem Mittel-Pleistozän (370.000 Jahre vor heute) der Oberen Osaka-Gruppe, Präfektur Osaka, Mittel-Japan,[1] ausgestellt im Paläontologischen Museum in Moskau. Die Länge allein des Schädels beträgt etwa 1 m. Das Original-Fossilmaterial befindet sich im Museum der Universität von Osaka.
