| Purpose of use |
The image illustrates the section of the article on Noel Coward that analyses and comments upon Coward's public image, famously holding the cigarette holder. The image demonstrates the point made in the text that Coward carefully nurtured his smartly-dressed public image beginning in the 1920s and beyond. It is of sufficient resolution for commentary and identification for informational and educational purposes. It is of relatively low resolution, however, and copies made from it will be of inferior quality for uses that would compete with the commercial purpose of the original product. |
