Description
English: North side of 2700 block of 13th Street in Columbus, Nebraska. The block is part of the Columbus Commercial Historic District, which is listed in the National Register of Historic Places. The four-story building is the Evans Hotel, at 1354 27th Ave, built in 1913. The low building to its left, with "Crackers & Caviar" on the window, is the C. J. Garlow Building at 2710 13th St., built ca. 1927. The building at the left edge of the picture is the former Boyd & Son Tin Shop, at 2712 13th St, built ca. 1914. The first two buildings are contributing properties in the Historic District; the last is a non-contributing property.
