For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme. Das erste amerikanische Gold für Deutschland. Auf Grund der Dawes Gesetze schickte die Morgan-Bank zwei Millionen Dollar in Gold mit der Mongolia nach Deutschland. Dasselbe ist für die Reichsbank bestimmt und am 23. Dezember in Berlin eingetroffen. Beamte der Reichsbank beim Verladen des Goldes auf dem Lehrter Bahnhof in Berlin. |
