Description
English: Elephantiasis patient, same individual from "Bellevue Venus" photo. Name A. C., age 19. Her lower extremities were enlarged from childhood after "post-scarlatrinal edema". Suffered from ulceration and sloughing, her health failed, and she died of exhaustion. Was under the care of Dr. P. L. Schenck of Kings County Hospital.
