His mother, Anna Toscano, belonged to the noble family of the Marquises of Montanaro.) known as the Father of the orphans and of the poor. He discovered the divine command of Jesus: “rogate ergo…”(Mt. 9:37-38). July 19,2009- Rev. Fr. Dante F. Quidayan, RCJ, the first Rogationist priest from Laguna, blessed a monument of the Father Founder, Saint Hannibal Mary Di Francia, which was installed at the Bay junction. [4] --- Bay, Laguna[5] (is a second class[6] municipality politically subdivided into 15 barangays, one of the oldest towns in the province of Laguna[7], Philippines, covering even Los Baños [8] and Calauan[9]. In 1581, Bay became the capital of the Province of Laguna de Bay and remained so until 1688 when the capital was moved to Pagsanjan. The Patron of Bay is Saint Augustine of Hippo [10] celebrating his Feast Day during August 28.
